About the role
We are seeking a caring and reliable individual to provide full‑time child care in a private home in Winnipeg. The role involves supporting the daily needs of infants and young children while maintaining a safe, nurturing environment.
Key responsibilities
- Change diapers and assist with toilet training following parents' guidance.
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to keep the home tidy.
- Bathe, dress and feed infants and children, ensuring their comfort.
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment throughout the home.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals tailored to the children’s needs.
- Prepare infants and children for rest periods and supervise nap times.
- Supervise and care for children during all activities.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- Ability to handle heavy loads and perform physically demanding, repetitive tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and a client‑focused attitude.
- Personal qualities: flexibility, organization, patience and honesty.
