Home Child Care Provider – Full‑time

About the role

We are looking for a compassionate home child care provider to join a family in Vancouver on a full‑time basis. The role involves caring for infants and children in the employer’s residence, ensuring their safety, well‑being and development throughout the day.

Key responsibilities

• Follow parents’ guidance on toilet training and discipline methods.
• Provide daily care including bathing, dressing, feeding, and supervising children.
• Organize games, outings and educational activities to support social development.
• Prepare meals, cook, and manage light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry and ironing.
• Shop for food and household supplies and maintain a safe, healthy home environment.
• Transport children to school, appointments and extracurricular activities using public transportation.
• Maintain daily activity and health records, and assist with homework and emotional well‑being.

Required profile

• High school graduation or equivalent experience.
• Client‑focused with strong interpersonal skills.
• Flexible, organized, reliable and patient.
• Honest and able to take initiative.
• Willingness to undergo a criminal record check.
