About the role
We are seeking a caring and reliable individual to provide full‑time child care in a private home setting in Montréal. The provider will support families by supervising children, handling daily routines, and assisting with household tasks while parents are away.
Key responsibilities
- Change diapers, sterilize bottles, prepare formulas, and feed infants and children.
- Supervise, bathe, dress, and guide children through rest periods and daily activities.
- Perform light housekeeping, including cleaning, laundry, ironing, and pressing linens.
- Assist parents with toilet training and follow their guidance on child‑care practices.
- Travel with the family on trips, providing child supervision and housekeeping support.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of relevant child‑care experience.
- Flexible availability for shifts, on‑call, day, weekend, and flexible hours.
- Participation in programs supporting newcomers, refugees, youth, Indigenous people, and mature workers.
