About the role
We are looking for a compassionate home child care provider to care for infants and children in a family’s residence in Calgary. The role involves full responsibility for the children’s wellbeing, daily routines, and household support while parents are away.
Key responsibilities
- Change diapers, sterilize bottles, prepare formulas, and feed children.
- Plan and supervise games, outings, and educational activities.
- Maintain a safe, clean environment and perform light housekeeping.
- Shop for food and household supplies, cook nutritious meals, and manage rest periods.
- Transport children to school, appointments, and accompany family on trips.
- Record daily activities, health information, and support children’s emotional wellbeing.
Required profile
- Efficient interpersonal and oral communication skills.
- Flexibility, initiative, good judgement, and reliability.
- Patience, honesty, and strong time‑management abilities.
Required skills
- CPR certification.
- First Aid certification.
