Home Child Care Provider – Full-time

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Child Care Provider to join a family in West Vancouver on a full‑time basis. The role involves caring for infants and children in the employer’s home, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide daily care including bathing, dressing, feeding, and supervising children.
• Plan and lead age‑appropriate activities, games, and outings.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks.
• Maintain a clean and safe home environment, performing light housekeeping.
• Transport children to school, appointments, and extracurricular activities.
• Record daily activities, health information, and support homework.
• Follow parental discipline guidelines and promote personal hygiene and social development.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation or equivalent experience.
• 7 months to less than 1 year of child‑care experience.
• Ability to pass a criminal record check.
• Strong interpersonal skills, patience, reliability, and good judgment.
