High School Math & Science Tutor (In Person)

About the role

Maison d'Étude Academy is looking for an experienced Math & Science Tutor to provide one‑on‑one, in‑person support to high‑school students in Montreal. The tutor will reinforce core concepts, help students develop independent study habits, and communicate progress to families.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver in‑person tutoring for secondary I–V Math and Science curricula.
• Reinforce core concepts through targeted practice, assignments, and supplementary resources.
• Maintain ongoing communication with students’ families regarding progress and goals.
• Accurately log sessions and notes using the internal scheduling system.
• Support students in developing independent study habits and long‑term academic skills.

Required profile

• University degree in Education, Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field.
• 1–2 years of tutoring or teaching experience at the high‑school level.
• Strong knowledge of Quebec curriculum standards in Math and Science.
• Bilingual (English/French) preferred.
• Professionalism, reliability, and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to provide in‑person support in the Montreal area.
• Successful police background check.
