Helicopter Pilot (Seasonal Full‑Time)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified helicopter pilot to operate fixed‑wing aircraft and helicopters for a variety of missions including search and rescue, aerial surveys, forest firefighting, and resource exploration. The position is seasonal, full‑time and based in remote locations across Canada.

Key responsibilities

• Fly fixed‑wing aircraft and helicopters for diverse operational missions.
• Conduct pre‑flight inspections and ensure weight‑and‑balance specifications are met.
• Monitor engine performance and aircraft systems during flight and record any malfunctions.
• Coordinate flight activities with ground crews, air‑traffic control and flight dispatchers.
• Follow emergency procedures, respond to in‑flight emergencies and report required repairs.
• Prepare flight evaluation reports and participate in emergency response planning.

Required profile

• Commercial Pilot Licence – rotors and Visual Flight Rating.
• Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Licence.
• 3 to 5 years of piloting experience in remote or resource‑exploration environments.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel for extended periods.
• Clear criminal record, medical exam clearance and ability to work at heights and outdoors.
