Heavy Equipment Grader Operator – Kearl Mining Site

About the role

NACG is looking for experienced grader operators to join its remote mining operation at Kearl, near Fort McMurray. You will work on a 14‑day on/14‑day off schedule, living in camp accommodation and receiving transportation to and from Edmonton or Calgary.

Key responsibilities

• Operate articulating motor graders (16‑24 ft blade) to maintain roadways, haul roads, and loading/dumping areas.
• Read stakes and use GPS equipment to achieve required grades.
• Perform pre‑use inspections and complete field‑level risk assessments.
• Fuel, service, and safely operate equipment in compliance with mine driving rules.
• Coordinate with light vehicles, hauling equipment, and client personnel while following all safety policies.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience operating graders (16 ft or larger); M‑series experience is a plus.
• At least one year in a mining or heavy‑construction earthworks environment.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence with a clean abstract (checked within 30 days).
• Proficiency in English (verbal and written).
• CSO certification and Wood Buffalo wildlife awareness.
