About the role
The Health Care Aide provides essential personal care and support to residents in a nursing home environment. You will work closely with the care team to ensure residents’ comfort, safety, and wellbeing throughout their stay.
Key responsibilities
- Supply and empty bed pans, and take patients' blood pressure, temperature and pulse.
- Weigh, lift, turn and position patients safely.
- Make beds, maintain patients' rooms, and assist with bathing, dressing and grooming.
- Transport patients using wheelchairs or stretchers as needed.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- First Aid Certificate and Health Care Aide Certificate.
- Bondable with a clear criminal record check.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, bend, crouch, kneel and handle up to 23 kg.
- 1 to less than 7 months of relevant experience.
- Availability for shift or on‑call work, including early morning, morning, day and evening shifts.
