Head of Logistics

About the role

The Head of Logistics will lead KUTHALA GROUP’s end‑to‑end logistics operations across transportation, warehousing, equipment and storage divisions. Based on‑site in Georgetown, ON, this senior role is responsible for optimizing fleet utilization, coordinating freight movements and ensuring cost‑effective, timely delivery of goods.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and optimise fleet utilisation, routing and scheduling across multiple locations.
• Oversee warehouse and inventory processes to maintain accurate stock levels and efficient throughput.
• Lead, mentor and develop logistics teams, setting performance targets and driving continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory and company standards in all logistics activities.
• Collaborate with procurement, finance and commercial teams to enhance supply‑chain performance and manage vendor relationships.
• Support strategic growth initiatives by providing logistics insights and operational recommendations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a senior logistics or supply‑chain leadership role, preferably within transportation or warehousing.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent communication and people‑management skills.
• Post‑secondary education in logistics, supply chain, operations management or a related field; professional certifications are a plus.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, regulatory compliance and continuous improvement.
