Head of Logistics

About the role

The Head of Logistics will lead the development and execution of strategies that optimise both B2B and B2C logistics operations for a global fashion brand. The role focuses on improving efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing customer satisfaction while embedding sustainable practices throughout the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans for logistics operations across multiple sites.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction and operational efficiency.
• Oversee inbound and outbound logistics to meet SLAs and ensure timely delivery.
• Manage relationships with logistics service providers and monitor service quality.
• Implement inventory control procedures to minimise discrepancies and maintain accurate stock levels.
• Utilise data analytics tools to monitor key logistics metrics and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with commercial, transport, customer service, IT and other cross‑functional teams.
• Develop risk‑management strategies to enhance supply‑chain resilience.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations and industry standards.
• Develop and manage the logistics department budget, controlling costs while achieving business objectives.
• Promote sustainable logistics practices to reduce environmental impact.

Required profile

• Bachelor degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar logistics leadership role.
• Proven leadership and team‑management skills across multiple locations.
• Strong problem‑solving, decision‑making and negotiation abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for managing internal and external relationships.
• Commitment to innovation, sustainability and continuous improvement in logistics processes.

Required skills

• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Proficiency in data analytics tools for logistics performance monitoring.
