Guest Services Agent

About the role

The Guest Services Agent is the first point of contact for guests at Moutcha Bay Resort, delivering a seamless and memorable experience from arrival to departure. Reporting to the Guest Services Supervisor, the role combines front‑desk operations, reservation management, and cross‑department coordination in a dynamic, seasonal environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, answer inquiries, resolve concerns, and ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
• Manage check‑ins, check‑outs, folio handling, moorage, payments and daily financial reports.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Dock Shack, Guides, Fish Processing, Restaurant and Head Office to fulfill guest requests.
• Operate POS and property‑management systems, maintain cash floats and perform daily cash‑outs.
• Maintain lobby, gift shop, bathrooms and public areas; restock and sell retail merchandise.
• Monitor communication channels, record issues in Monday.com and escalate when necessary.
• Create and modify reservations for accommodations, moorage, camping, fishing and equipment rentals.

Required profile

• Legally entitled to work in Canada.
• Strong hospitality mindset with excellent verbal communication.
• Organised, detail‑oriented and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• WHMIS certification and valid driver’s licence preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience using POS software.
• Familiarity with property‑management software.
• Ability to navigate Monday.com for issue tracking.
