Guest Room Attendant – Housekeeping

About the role

Join the housekeeping team at TownePlace Suites By Marriott as a Guest Room Attendant. You will be responsible for maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and comfort that guests expect, while working in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including bathtubs, toilets, sinks, mirrors, tiles, and floors.
• Strip and make beds, change linens, and handle items up to 50 lb.
• Dust furniture, picture frames, window ledges, and shelves.
• Vacuum rooms, empty trash, and restock amenities, linens, and supplies.
• Sign for and manage room keys, transport carts, and ensure rooms are ready for guest arrival.
• Inspect rooms for cleanliness and visual appeal, and mark completion.
• Follow all safety, attendance, and cleaning procedure guidelines.

Required profile

• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Self‑starting attitude with a calm, professional demeanor.
• Willingness to assist teammates and work collaboratively.
• Physical capability to lift, push, or pull equipment up to 100 lb and work in confined spaces.

Required skills

• Knowledge of chemical cleaning agents and safe usage.
• Operation of various cleaning equipment (vacuum, mop, etc.).
