Ground Services Operator – Full‑Time/Part‑Time

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Ground Services Operator to join our airport team. You will operate a variety of ground‑servicing equipment, handle customer freight, and ensure safety and efficiency in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate all ground‑servicing equipment and report any abnormalities.
• Follow all airport procedures and maintain equipment condition, fuel, and performance.
• Lift and move packages up to 60 lb repeatedly, sort them by customer and destination, and communicate counts to supervisors.
• Handle dangerous goods in accordance with WHMIS, SMS and Hazard Prevention policies.
• Perform general housekeeping, meet time‑sensitive freight deadlines, and complete required training modules.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Mandatory operator training completed and a valid AVOP certification.
• Valid driver’s licence with excellent driving skills in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift 60 lb repeatedly and work flexible shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Strong punctuality, attendance, and communication skills.
