About the role

Join Real Canadian Superstore in Winnipeg as a Grocery Department Manager and help shape the future of Canadian retail. You will lead a diverse team, drive sales, and ensure an excellent shopping experience for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the grocery department, ensuring merchandising, pricing, and stock levels meet standards.
• Achieve or exceed sales and profitability targets through effective merchandising and inventory management.
• Train, coach, and develop associates in customer service, product knowledge, and store procedures.
• Monitor inventory, coordinate replenishment with other departments, and manage departmental expenses.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment for customers and staff while upholding operational standards.
• Collaborate with store management and other department managers to align with overall store goals.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; post‑secondary coursework preferred.
• Previous retail management experience, preferably in a departmental or specialty store setting.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, organizational, and time‑management abilities.
• Flexibility to work evenings, nights, and weekends as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb and stand for extended periods.
