Graphic Designer

About the role

The Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity is seeking a Graphic Designer to join its Marketing team. You will create visual assets that support the Centre’s mission to inspire artists, leaders, and thinkers while maintaining brand consistency across all communications.

Key responsibilities

• Design and produce artwork for advertisements, digital ads, editorial publications, brochures, posters, invitations, annual reports, proposals, stationery, performance programs, and signage.
• Create graphics for the Banff Centre website and other online platforms.
• Manage on‑site design projects such as directional signage and advertising boards.
• Coordinate pre‑press activities with printing houses, prepare print‑ready files, obtain quotes, schedule production, and conduct press checks.
• Establish project schedules and budgets, ensuring timely and cost‑effective delivery.
• Lead brand‑identity initiatives, communicating and implementing visual standards.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging design technologies.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional graphic design experience.
• Diploma or degree in graphic design or a related field.
• Proven ability to design a wide range of marketing and corporate communications materials.
