Graphic Designer – Event & Design Support (Freelance)

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Graphic Designer to support the visual identity of a nonprofit client’s Spring and Fall events. This remote, freelance position is seasonal and focuses on high‑volume, template‑driven production of event assets.

Key responsibilities

• Produce 80+ event assets per season, including signage, presentations, digital graphics, and collateral.
• Build and maintain templates and layout systems for efficient, scalable output.
• Ensure consistency with established visual identity systems across all deliverables.
• Prepare print‑ready and digital files that meet technical specifications.
• Collaborate with the Art Director and project teams, incorporating feedback and meeting tight deadlines.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in graphic design, production design, or brand execution.
• Strong portfolio showcasing multi‑channel design and high‑volume asset production.
• Ability to work independently with own computer and design software licenses.

Required skills

• Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Understanding of print and digital production processes.
• Experience working with design templates and brand guidelines.

What we offer

• Freelance contract at $45‑$50 CAD per hour.
• 10‑15 hours per week, August‑October and March‑May.
