Graphic Design Co-op

About the role

Join Reliable Controls’ Creative Services team as a Graphic Design Co‑op, supporting the creation of high‑quality visual assets for print and digital channels. You will work on marketing collateral, trade show graphics, social media visuals, presentations and more while learning professional design processes within an established brand.

Key responsibilities

• Create print and digital assets such as brochures, advertisements, banners, presentations, signage and promotional materials.
• Support development and production of large‑format graphics for trade shows, events and corporate spaces.
• Develop graphics and image assets for websites, social media, internal communications and other digital channels.
• Apply Reliable Controls brand standards and design guidelines consistently.
• Prepare artwork and production files for print, digital publishing and final outputs.
• Update existing marketing collateral and creative assets as needed.
• Collaborate with Creative Services team members and internal stakeholders to understand project requirements and incorporate feedback.
• Organise working files and completed assets according to established processes.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a Graphic Design, Visual Communication or related post‑secondary program and eligible for a co‑op work term.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
• Portfolio demonstrating foundational skills in graphic design, typography, layout and visual communication.
• Understanding of basic design principles and interest in applying them across print and digital media.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality work.
• Openness to feedback, willingness to ask questions and eagerness to learn.
• Strong organisational and time‑management skills with ability to manage multiple assignments.
• Collaborative approach and willingness to contribute as part of a creative team.
