Grader Operator – Near Surface Mining

About the role

The Grader Operator supports Near Surface Mine Operations at the Macassa Mine, reporting to the Near Surface Mine Operations Supervisor. You will operate grader and other heavy‑equipment safely, ensuring efficient material handling and contributing to daily production goals.

Key responsibilities

• Operate grader equipment to fine‑grade, spread and push aggregate materials.
• Perform daily safety and equipment checks, routine cleaning and preventive maintenance.
• Operate additional heavy‑equipment and assist with logistics as required.
• Maintain a clean, hazard‑free work area and follow all safety procedures.
• Record daily activities on the 5‑point card and communicate effectively with the team.

Required profile

• Demonstrated competence with grader and other underground hard‑rock equipment.
• Strong focus on health, safety and environmental standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a mining team.
• Willingness to perform routine housekeeping and equipment upkeep.
