General Practitioner (GP) – Clinic Position

About the role

Millennium Healthcare is seeking a dedicated General Practitioner (GP) to join its clinic in Winnipeg. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive primary care, support patient wellness, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Collect medical information from patients, families, and other professionals.
• Examine patients to diagnose diseases and injuries.
• Order laboratory tests, X‑rays, and other diagnostics.
• Prescribe medications, administer treatments, and provide vaccinations.
• Consult with other practitioners to evaluate physical and mental health.
• Advise patients on healthy habits and lifestyle changes.
• Report births, deaths, and contagious diseases to authorities.
• Coordinate primary patient care and provide acute care management.
• Offer counseling and support to patients and families.

Required profile

• Doctorate degree in medicine.
• Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC).
• College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP) and CCFP(EM).
• Successful completion of MCCQE I and II.
• 1–2 years of clinical experience.
• Clear criminal record, child and adult abuse registry checks, and valid driver’s licence.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, physically demanding environment.
