About the role

MetaNexus Consulting & Accounting is seeking a full‑time, on‑site General Practitioner to join its Alberta clinic. The role focuses on delivering comprehensive primary care, from patient assessments to ongoing management of chronic and acute conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical examinations and obtain detailed patient histories.
• Order, interpret, and act upon diagnostic tests in line with clinical guidelines.
• Prescribe medications, develop treatment plans, and provide follow‑up care.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date medical records.
• Coordinate care with specialists, nurses, and allied health professionals.
• Deliver preventive services, patient education, and health‑promotion initiatives.
• Participate in quality‑improvement projects and clinical workflow enhancements.

Required profile

• Licensed or eligible for licensure as a General Practitioner/Family Physician in Alberta, in good standing.
• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with completed residency in family medicine or general practice.
• Demonstrated clinical expertise in primary care across diverse patient populations.
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
• Commitment to evidence‑based practice and continuous professional development.
