General Practitioner / Family Physician Roles in Canada

About the role

We are seeking UK and Irish qualified General Practitioners to join modern, community‑based family practice clinics across Canada. These positions allow you to deliver patient‑centred primary care within multidisciplinary teams that provide strong administrative and clinical support.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care to a diverse patient population, including chronic disease management, women’s health, urgent care, musculoskeletal and mental health concerns.
• Collaborate with on‑site allied health professionals to deliver coordinated, team‑based care.
• Participate in both in‑person consultations and, where applicable, virtual care sessions.
• Maintain accurate medical records and adhere to provincial clinical guidelines.

Required profile

• Fully qualified GP in the UK or Ireland (MRCGP, MICGP or equivalent).
• Willingness to relocate to Canada for a minimum of 1 year, with the option to stay longer.
• Passion for patient‑centred family medicine and desire for professional autonomy.
• Interest in working within a supportive, clinician‑first environment.

Required skills

• Clinical competence in primary care across a broad range of conditions.
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems and medical billing processes (preferred but not mandatory).
