General Manager, Non‑Emergency Medical Transportation

About the role

Voyago is seeking a General Manager to lead its Non‑Emergency Medical Transportation division across the Greater Toronto Area and Central Ontario. Reporting to the Director of Non‑Emergency Medical Transport, the role combines strategic planning, business development, and operational leadership to drive growth, profitability, and service excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional strategies aligned with corporate vision, setting goals for teams and individuals.
• Ensure contract compliance, meet KPIs, and foster strong customer relationships through regular engagements.
• Lead labour‑relations activities, including collective bargaining support and grievance resolution.
• Motivate, coach, and develop staff; conduct performance reviews and regular team meetings.
• Oversee safety‑focused operations, corporate account bookings, and business development initiatives.
• Analyze performance data, identify risks and opportunities, and implement continuous‑improvement measures.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in transportation or logistics management, preferably within healthcare.
• Strong track record of strategic planning, contract management, and revenue growth.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Ability to navigate labour‑relations processes and drive a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
