General Labourer – Landscaping

About the role

Paysagiste Roche is looking for a reliable general labourer to join its landscaping team in Montréal. The role involves outdoor work across various client sites, handling soil, plants, and equipment while maintaining high safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Remove litter and garbage from work sites.
• Cart and spread topsoil and other landscaping materials.
• Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees.
• Repair, maintain, and operate landscape maintenance equipment.
• Operate heavy machinery such as backhoes, front‑end loaders, and tractors.

Required profile

• Physically demanding work with ability to handle heavy loads.
• Manual dexterity, attention to detail, and good hand‑eye coordination.
• Comfortable working outdoors in noisy, dusty, wet or hot conditions.
• Valid driver’s licence and ability to drive manual‑transmission vehicles.
• 7 months to less than 1 year of relevant experience.

Required skills

• Operating a backhoe.
• Using a chain saw.
• Driving a front‑end loader.
• Handling gravel or dump trucks and pick‑up trucks.
• Operating small‑engine equipment and tractors.
