About the role
Under the supervision of the Dining Hall Supervisor or Chef, the General Helper C assists with maintenance and upkeep of kitchen equipment in the Bishop Mountain Hall dining hall. This seasonal, part‑time role involves working 15.5 hours per week on Sundays and Saturdays from 14:45 to 22:30.
Key responsibilities
- Perform tasks related to maintenance and upkeep of kitchen equipment.
- Support the Dining Hall Supervisor and Chef as needed.
- Report any equipment issues to the Dining Hall Supervisor.
Required profile
- High School Leaving Diploma (or equivalent).
- One (1) year of related experience in a kitchen or hospitality setting.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to read and write in English and/or French.
- Availability to work scheduled shifts on Sundays and Saturdays from 14:45 to 22:30, including weekend/evening premium pay.
- Commitment to a seasonal part‑time schedule of 15.5 hours per week.
