General Duty Cleaner (Part-Time)

About the role

Commercial Cleaning Services is seeking reliable General Duty Cleaners to join their fast‑growing team in Ontario. You will work on weekends and holidays, providing high‑quality cleaning and floor‑maintenance services for schools, offices, retail sites and other community spaces.

Key responsibilities

• Operate auto‑scrubbers, ride‑on machines, carpet extractors and floor‑burnishing equipment to perform stripping, waxing, buffing and carpet cleaning.
• Lift, move and arrange furniture and equipment to access all cleaning areas.
• Load, unload and deliver cleaning supplies, consumables and equipment as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client needs and ensuring satisfaction.
• Perform high‑level cleaning tasks that may require ladders or scaffolding.

Required profile

• Passion for customer service and a keen eye for detail.
• Positive, friendly attitude with the ability to adapt and learn new skills.
• Physical fitness to lift up to 51 lbs, stand or walk for the entire shift, and climb stairs.
• Police background check and a valid G‑class driver’s licence.
