General Clerk – Retail Store

About the role

Save‑On‑Foods is seeking a friendly and reliable General Clerk for its Columbia location in New Westminster, BC. This part‑time position involves direct interaction with customers and supporting the store’s daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Operate the cash register and handle customer transactions accurately.
• Maintain well‑stocked, clean, and attractive product displays, ensuring only fresh items are presented.
• Provide product knowledge and answer customer inquiries to deliver a positive shopping experience.
• Clean equipment and work areas to uphold safety and sanitation standards.
• Use a variety of tools, including knives, for product preparation.

Required profile

• Retail customer service experience is an asset.
