Games Coordinator – Part‑Time

About the role

The Games Coordinator (GC) oversees league nights at the Edmonton Sport & Social Club facility, ensuring games run smoothly while providing a fun, inclusive environment for adult participants.

Key responsibilities

• Arrive at the facility 15 minutes before the first game and set up all equipment.
• Host captain meetings to review rules and expectations before games and at halftime.
• Monitor games, call penalties or fouls, keep score and announce time and score updates.
• Move around the floor/field with the action to ensure safety and fair play.
• Complete a game report for each session and submit it online by the next day at 5 pm.

Required profile

• Punctual with reliable transportation.
• Confident, respectful, personable and assertive.
• Background in sports and able to coach and lead participants.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• At least 18 years of age.

What we offer

• Hourly pay starting at $20 CAD, increasing to $22 CAD after 9+ seasons.
• Performance bonus up to $1 CAD per hour based on player ratings.
• Playing bonus ranging from $60 to $90 CAD depending on hours worked per season.
• Flexible scheduling 4‑16 hours per week across all seasons.
