Full‑time Pharmacist – Sackville, NB

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position is based in Sackville, New Brunswick. The Pharmacist is responsible for safe, accurate, and timely dispensing of medications while upholding legal, ethical, and professional standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review and interpret prescriptions, assess drug interactions, and counsel patients on medication use, side effects, and adherence.
• Provide recommendations to prescribers and support clinical services such as medication reviews, vaccinations, and health‑promotion initiatives.
• Monitor inventory levels, oversee medication storage and handling, and ensure proper documentation.
• Collaborate with pharmacy assistants and other team members to maintain a positive and efficient pharmacy environment.
• Maintain complete and accurate patient records.

Required profile

• Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Pharmacist with the New Brunswick regulatory body.
• Demonstrated expertise in clinical pharmacy practice, including prescription review and patient counseling.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical laws, regulations, and professional standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced retail pharmacy, manage multiple priorities, and stand for extended periods.
