Fullstack Developer (Java & Angular)

About the role

Highspring is seeking a Fullstack Developer to join a financial services client in Montreal. You will work in an Agile, collaborative environment to design, develop, and enhance modern web applications using Java and Angular technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test, and debug web applications following project timelines and quality standards.
• Build and maintain Angular front‑ends and Java‑based microservices (Spring, Spring Boot).
• Translate functional requirements into technical specifications and reusable components.
• Write unit and integration tests and support regression testing.
• Participate in code reviews, ensure design quality, and mentor junior team members.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Canada to gather feedback and refine solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 5‑8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently under pressure and deliver high‑quality code.
• Bilingual in French and English.
