Full-Time Sporting Goods Clerk

About the role

Lake Country Co‑op is seeking a Full‑Time Sporting Goods Clerk to join the Home Centre team in Nipawin, Saskatchewan. You will provide knowledgeable, friendly service to members and guests seeking hunting, fishing, and outdoor adventure products.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers on the sales floor with product selection for hunting, fishing, archery and related outdoor merchandise.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of firearms regulations, safety practices, ammunition types, fishing tackle and archery equipment.
• Process firearm sales in compliance with all documentation and safety procedures.
• Receive, price, and display merchandise attractively.
• Keep the department organized, clean shelves, displays and aisles.
• Support Asset Protection and Safety Management policies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Hardware Team Leader.

Required profile

• Experience in customer service and sales; personal familiarity with outdoor sports is preferred.
• Strong service orientation, courteous, and able to build long‑term customer relationships.
• Honest, trustworthy, results‑driven and proud of your work.
• Well‑organized, capable of high productivity with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, guest‑facing environment and meet physical demands (standing, lifting 20‑25 lb regularly).
• Flexible schedule including days, weekends and holidays.
