Full-Time Pharmacist – Retail Pharmacy

About the role

Sobeys Inc. is looking for a licensed pharmacist to join the Safeway Pharmacy located in Lloydminster, Alberta. The position is full‑time and focuses on delivering patient‑centered care within a high‑traffic retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide warm, empathetic, and professional patient counseling and education tailored to individual needs.
• Conduct disease‑state management, medication reviews, health‑risk assessments, and administer injections/vaccines.
• Initiate and follow up on care plans, ensuring thorough documentation.
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and assistants to maintain prescription safety and workflow efficiency.
• Participate in professional programs and contribute to seamless care across multiple locations.
• Stay current with pharmacy practice standards, regulatory requirements, and industry developments.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
• Current licensure as a pharmacist in the province of Alberta.
• Commitment to patient health and community well‑being.
