Full-Time Pharmacist – Medicine Hat

About the role

Join Sobeys Inc.’s pharmacy team in Medicine Hat as a full-time pharmacist. You will provide patient‑centered care, ensure medication safety, and support the health of the community through a range of clinical services.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate patient counseling and education, adapting communication to individual needs.
• Conduct medication reviews, disease‑state management, health‑risk assessments, and administer injections/vaccines.
• Develop and follow care plans, document interactions, and ensure prescription safety.
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians, assistants, and other healthcare professionals to maintain workflow efficiency.
• Participate in professional programs and promote Sobeys’ pharmacy service offerings.
• Adhere to regulatory requirements, company policies, OHS, loss‑prevention, and continuous quality improvement processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
• Current licence to practice as a pharmacist in Alberta.
• Commitment to patient health and community well‑being.
