Full-Time Elementary Teacher (K‑6)

About the role

The Keewatin‑Patricia District School Board is seeking a dedicated Full‑Time Elementary Teacher to join Sioux Mountain Public School. This permanent position offers the opportunity to educate and inspire students in a vibrant northern‑Ontario community.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess the elementary curriculum for assigned grades.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive and engaging classroom environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents and support staff to support student learning.
• Participate in school and board initiatives, professional development and staff meetings.

Required profile

• Ontario Teacher Certification with qualifications for the appropriate division.
• Primary/Junior qualifications preferred.
• Successful completion of a Vulnerable Sector Check or Criminal Record and Judicial Matters Check (at employee’s expense).
• Three professional references, including a recent supervisor, with permission to contact.
