Full-time Baker – Permanent Position

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated baker to join our team at COBS Bread Brewery District in Edmonton. This full-time permanent role involves preparing a variety of baked goods, from breads and rolls to pastries and cakes, while maintaining high quality standards in a fast‑paced bakery environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare doughs, batters, icings and frostings according to standard recipes or special customer orders.
• Bake mixed doughs and batters, monitor oven performance and ensure products meet quality specifications.
• Train and mentor junior staff on food preparation, cooking techniques and safe handling of equipment.
• Manage inventory, organize supplies and keep the work area clean and compliant with health regulations.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of bakery experience with a strong eye for detail.
• Ability to work standing for long periods, distinguish colours and perform repetitive tasks.
• Dependable team player with patience and good hand‑eye coordination.

Required skills

• Operate bakery machinery safely and efficiently.
• Prepare doughs, batters and decorative elements following precise recipes.
