Full Stack Web Developer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and cloud‑based solutions. The role works closely with designers, developers and stakeholders to deliver secure, high‑performing, user‑friendly applications while continuously improving our technology platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable web applications and services.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement new features and functionality.
• Translate UI/UX designs into responsive, interactive web applications.
• Ensure code quality, performance, maintainability and security.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and micro‑services.
• Apply best practices for data protection, application security and system reliability.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment and CI/CD processes.
• Troubleshoot, debug and optimise application performance.
• Contribute to cloud infrastructure, containerisation and DevOps initiatives.
• Improve user experience and overall application functionality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 5 years of professional full‑stack web development experience.
• At least 10 years of experience with PHP, object‑oriented programming, Laravel framework and Vue.js.
• 10 years of experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• 8 years of experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Redis).
• 5 years of experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap and Tailwind CSS.
• 5 years of experience using Git, Bitbucket or SVN and CI/CD pipelines.
• 5 years of experience with Docker and containerised deployments.
• 5 years of experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and managing production environments on AWS (Lambda, RDS).
• 5 years of experience with DigitalOcean, Laravel Vapor and custom integrations on the BigCommerce platform.
