Full-Stack Software Engineer (Hybrid, Montreal)

About the role

As a Full-Stack Software Engineer at Broadsign, you will help evolve industry‑leading out‑of‑home media platforms by building robust back‑end services and sleek, responsive user interfaces. You will work in a hybrid setting in Montreal, collaborating with a dynamic R&D team to deliver features that reach millions of viewers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and ship new front‑end and back‑end features for the software suite.
• Maintain and enhance existing functionality across the platform.
• Participate in agile sprints, share ideas, and contribute to peer‑driven code reviews.
• Work with modern hardware and software tools to ensure high performance and reliability.

Required profile

• 3–7 years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency with object‑oriented languages, especially C# and .NET Core.
• Strong understanding and application of SOLID principles.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS services such as CloudFormation and ECS.
• Solid knowledge of REST APIs and SQL databases.
• Experience writing testable code and familiarity with Test‑Driven Development.
• Commitment to agile development practices.
