Full Stack Software Engineer – Billing & Integrations

About the role

Atlassian is hiring a Full Stack Software Engineer for its Loom Integration Platform & Billing Engineering team, which builds and scales the core monetization, subscription and platform migration services connecting Loom with the Atlassian cloud. The role is fully remote, with the expectation that you live in British Columbia, Canada (Pacific Time zone alignment preferred).

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and ship end-to-end features in a scalable, distributed cloud environment.
• Build accessible, responsive user interfaces with modern JavaScript/TypeScript and React.
• Implement backend REST APIs and microservices for billing, subscriptions and platform migration pipelines.
• Integrate with payment systems and internal identity/provisioning systems.
• Set up observability, monitoring, alerting and error reporting to keep platform reliability high and restore times low.
• Take part in agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, sprint planning and retrospectives, and contribute to code reviews, documentation and testing.

Required profile

• 2-4+ years of professional software engineering experience on production web applications.
• Experience with backend microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with relational or NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerized workflows, and with modern testing frameworks.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in a remote-first team.
• Nice to have: billing, payments or subscription platform experience, and familiarity with GitHub, Bitbucket, Jira and Confluence.

What we offer

• Base pay for new hires in Canada of CA$117,900 - CA$153,925.
