About the role

The Full Stack Engineer will work on the Paymentus platform, enhancing user experience, building test‑driven code, performing root‑cause analysis, and proposing innovative design improvements.

Key responsibilities

Gather and define requirements with third‑party engineers to create partner products leveraging Paymentus features.
Support partner integration throughout its lifecycle, including documentation, troubleshooting, and configuration.
Evaluate product enhancement requests and integrate existing Paymentus options.
Continuously acquire knowledge of the Paymentus platform and apply it to product configuration.
Apply enterprise development practices and develop comprehensive test suites to ensure high‑quality deliverables.

Required profile

Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or a related field.
3‑4 years of IT development experience.
Advanced knowledge of object‑oriented programming principles.
Proficiency in Java or comparable OOP languages.
Familiarity with HTTP protocol and RESTful APIs, using tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
Experience in responsive web development with HTML5, CSS3 (including LESS/SASS).
Ability to write modern JavaScript (ES6+) and work with frameworks like Angular, React, Vue, or ExtJS.
Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.
Experience with Linux/Unix environments and scripting.
Understanding of server‑side scalability, information architecture, and mentoring.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
