Full Stack Developer – Digital Transformation (Remote, Canada)

About the role

We are partnering with a leading organization to hire a Full Stack Developer based in Canada. The role is part of a large-scale digital transformation programme that builds modern, user-centric public services. You will work in a remote-first, Agile environment, collaborating with designers, product owners and engineers to deliver high-quality, scalable applications.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in technical discovery, research and solution planning for digital transformation initiatives.
• Produce architecture diagrams, documentation and technical specifications to guide implementation.
• Design, develop, test and maintain full-stack applications using modern frameworks and best practices.
• Work closely with UX designers and cross-functional teams to create intuitive digital experiences.
• Identify, troubleshoot and resolve functional and non-functional issues, continuously improving code quality and performance.
• Support deployments, product launches and ongoing platform enhancements, contributing reusable components.
• Mentor team members through documentation, knowledge sharing and improvement of development standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer in Agile environments.
• Strong experience with Git and collaborative source-control workflows.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with modern application frameworks, automated unit and integration testing, and both relational and non-relational databases.
• Solid understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns and engineering best practices.
• Experience modernising legacy systems and working with CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
• Familiarity with generative AI tools or agentic development workflows is an advantage.
