Fulfilment Operations Team Leader

About the role

As a Fulfilment Operations Team Leader at IKEA you will oversee the day‑to‑day activities that ensure products are available to customers while keeping costs low. You will lead a diverse team of co‑workers, drive operational excellence and support IKEA’s sustainability agenda within the fulfilment unit.

Key responsibilities

• Lead fulfilment co‑workers in your area to maintain high product availability and operational readiness at the lowest possible cost.
• Recruit, retain and develop talent, building a high‑performing, diverse team and ensuring succession planning.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment, ensuring compliance with IKEA Code of Conduct, internal regulations and local health, safety and environmental legislation.
• Plan shifts, equipment and workload to meet daily volume targets and seasonal peaks, while promoting quality awareness to reduce damages.
• Drive implementation of local business plans, projects and the Customer Fulfilment Sustainability agenda.

Required profile

• University degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience, or a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• At least 1 year of managerial experience.
• Strong leadership and people‑development capabilities.
• Commitment to safety, quality and sustainability standards.
