Fulfilment Center Clerk – Returns

About the role

The Fulfilment Center Clerk – Returns will join Cozey’s new warehouse in Mont‑Royal, Québec. Reporting to the Fulfilment Center Manager, this hands‑on position ensures that returned furniture is inspected, processed, and documented accurately to maintain high quality standards and support a positive customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, unload and inspect returned furniture for accuracy and quality compliance.
• Process returns through inspection, restocking, and disposition (BIS, refurbish, donate, or dispose) following established procedures.
• Document return outcomes and flag any quality or product issues to relevant teams.
• Assist with inventory organization, storage optimization, and accurate stock record‑keeping.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized returns workspace.
• Support order preparation tasks such as picking, labeling, and staging when needed.
• Collaborate with Warehouse Operators, Logistics, and Customer Happiness teams to resolve return‑related issues.
• Follow SOPs and suggest process improvements.

Required profile

• 1–2+ years of experience in a warehouse, distribution centre, or logistics environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 49 lb (22 kg).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow multi‑step processes consistently.
• Comfort with inspections, quality checks, and basic documentation.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
