About the role
We are looking for a farm worker to assist with fruit production at our Osoyoos location. The role involves planting, cultivating, irrigating, fertilizing, harvesting, and ensuring product quality. Work is performed outdoors in a physically demanding environment, requiring the ability to handle repetitive tasks and heavy loads. The position offers morning and day shifts, with training provided for those without prior experience.
Key responsibilities
- Plant, cultivate and irrigate crops to promote healthy growth.
- Fertilize and spray crops to maintain optimal nutrition and pest control.
- Harvest crops efficiently while preserving fruit quality.
- Examine product for quality and determine readiness for market.
- Perform budding of trees to support future harvests.
Required profile
- No formal education required (no degree, certificate or diploma).
- No prior experience required; training will be provided.
- Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work.
- Capability to handle repetitive tasks and heavy loads.
- Ability to stand, bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods.
