About the role
Evance is seeking a full‑time Front‑end Developer to join its in‑house team in Ipswich. You will work on a variety of internal and client‑facing web projects, improving user interfaces and overall user experience across our cloud platform.
Key responsibilities
- Develop responsive websites and themes on the Evance platform.
- Build and maintain Evance Themes for the Theme Library.
- Contribute to Evance core UI development and integrate front‑end components with back‑end services.
- Evolve front‑end frameworks for the Evance website, application UI/UX, and Theme Engine.
- Document UI components and ensure consistency across projects.
Required profile
- Strong passion for clean code and high‑quality design.
- Appreciation for great UI design and user‑experience improvements.
- Willingness to explore the latest web technologies and innovate.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a cross‑functional team.
Required skills
- Well‑structured HTML.
- Scalable, maintainable CSS with Sass.
- Modern, responsive, cross‑browser compatible development.
- Strong JavaScript knowledge.
- Experience with jQuery.
- Familiarity with Vue.js (bonus).
- Awareness of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
