Front-End Engineer (React/TypeScript) – Montreal

About the role

We are looking for a senior Front-End Engineer to join a high‑calibre, engineer‑led team building real‑time trading and market‑data applications. You will work closely with quants and senior engineers in a hybrid environment in Montreal.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and own high‑performance React front‑ends for real‑time trading and market data.
• Create sophisticated dashboards and visualisations for massive, fast‑moving datasets.
• Collaborate with quantitative analysts to translate complex models and machine‑learning insights into intuitive user interfaces.
• Make critical architectural decisions around performance, state management, and real‑time data handling.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional front‑end development experience.
• Strong expertise in React and TypeScript.
• Comfortable working on complex, data‑heavy, real‑time systems.
• Proven ability to own problems end‑to‑end and influence technical direction.
• Solid computer‑science fundamentals; a degree is a plus but not required.
• Fintech or trading experience is a plus.
