Front End Developer

About the role

Madison Web Solutions is a fast‑growing digital agency looking for a Front End Developer to create polished, responsive websites for a diverse client base. You will turn static designs into clean, standards‑compliant HTML/CSS templates ready for integration with dynamic CMS platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Convert design mock‑ups into responsive, cross‑browser HTML/CSS templates.
• Implement modular front‑end code using CSS preprocessors (Less/Sass) and Vue.js.
• Work with Twig and other templating engines to integrate front‑end assets into CMS projects.
• Maintain version control using Git and collaborate with the development team.
• Ensure accessibility and SEO best practices are applied throughout the build.

Required profile

• A passion for clean, elegant code and a “less is more” mindset.
• Strong eye for attractive, user‑friendly design.
• Attention to detail and a continual desire to learn emerging web technologies.

Required skills

• HTML (modern features) and CSS.
• Responsive web design techniques.
• CSS preprocessors: Less, Sass.
• Client‑side scripting with Vue.js.
• Git version control.
• Twig templating engine.
• WordPress CMS (desired).
• Build automation with Gulp (desired).
• Basic PHP and familiarity with the LAMP stack (desired).
• Experience with WordPress plugins such as WooCommerce, Advanced Custom Fields, Timber (desired).
• Laravel Blade templating engine (desired).
