Front End Developer (Contract) – Toronto

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Front End Developer to join our team on a contract basis in Toronto. The role involves translating high‑fidelity designs into pixel‑perfect, accessible web interfaces and collaborating closely with business stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web‑based applications using Angular and NodeJS.
• Create wireframes and mock‑ups in Figma and turn them into responsive UI.
• Integrate front‑end components with RESTful APIs and handle asynchronous requests.
• Manage application state with NGXS, NgRx or similar libraries.
• Implement reactive patterns using RxJS.
• Ensure compliance with WCAG accessibility standards and responsive design best practices.
• Optimize performance and troubleshoot front‑end issues.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to refine requirements and deliver solutions.

Required profile

• 6+ years of front‑end development experience with a strong portfolio.
• Proven ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Leadership, accountability and initiative in ambiguous environments.
