Front Desk Manager – Hotel Hospitality

About the role

Hotel SENS, located on iconic Sherbrooke Street in Montreal, is seeking a Front Desk Manager to lead its front office team and ensure an exceptional guest experience across both Hotel SENS and the historic Château Versailles.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily front desk operations, including check‑ins, check‑outs, reservations, and special guest requests.
• Deliver high‑quality customer service, resolve inquiries and complaints promptly.
• Train, mentor and schedule front desk agents and bell staff, ensuring proper coverage at all times.
• Coordinate with other departments to maintain effective communication and problem‑resolution.
• Manage online guest reviews and respond in a brand‑aligned manner.
• Balance room inventory, reconcile data, and ensure compliance with security and confidentiality policies.
• Perform administrative duties such as reporting, record‑keeping, and billing.

Required profile

• College diploma in Hospitality Management (asset).
• Minimum four years of front desk experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Experience in a unionized environment and handling online guest reviews (assets).
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage delicate situations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hotel management systems.
• Competence in standard computer tools used in hospitality operations.
