Front Desk Agent – Rotational Vessel Position

About the role

The Front Desk Agent will be the first point of contact for guests aboard the MV Isabelle X/Saga vessels operating near Squamish, BC. Working on a rotational three‑year schedule, you will ensure a smooth, welcoming experience for all occupants while supporting the hotel manager in daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Check guests in and out professionally, addressing special requests and ensuring satisfaction.
• Provide prompt, courteous telephone service and accurate information to guests.
• Maintain front‑desk and lobby cleanliness and organization.
• Prepare daily statistical reports, shift checklists, and bucket checks related to accommodation lists.
• Issue safety deposit boxes, handle mail, faxes, and messages for guests.
• Deliver concierge services, including local restaurant and attraction recommendations.
• Document maintenance needs and communicate guest information to relevant departments.
• Stay knowledgeable of vessel features, fire and emergency procedures, and room layouts.

Required profile

• Fluent English communication skills.
• Experience in front‑desk, hospitality, or customer‑service roles.
• Ability to work a rotational schedule on a vessel for up to three years.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
