Front Desk Agent – Rotational Floatel Position

About the role

The Front Desk Agent will be the primary point of contact for guests aboard the MV Saga X floatel, delivering professional hospitality services on a rotational schedule. You will ensure smooth check‑in/check‑out processes, address guest needs promptly, and support the overall guest experience while living and working on the vessel.

Key responsibilities

• Check guests in and out, verify reservations, and handle special requests.
• Provide courteous telephone service and accurate information to guests.
• Maintain front‑desk and lobby areas clean and organized.
• Prepare daily statistical and management reports, including night audit and reservation logs.
• Issue safety deposit boxes, manage guest mail, and communicate messages to relevant departments.
• Deliver concierge assistance, offering local restaurant and attraction recommendations.
• Follow vessel fire and emergency procedures and document maintenance needs.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lb.
• Punctual, reliable attendance with honesty and integrity.
• Valid MED Domestic Vessel Safety certificate, Crowd and Crisis Management certificate, and marine medical certificate (employer will support).
